My Approach

At Willow Grove Psychotherapy, I take a client-centered approach to therapy. I believe that every individual has unique strengths and experiences that can be utilised to overcome their challenges. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours without judgment. I specialise in helping clients navigate grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and neurodivergent conditions such as Autism and ADHD.

Offering online, telephone or in-person therapy, I use techniques from talking therapy, art therapy, positive psychology and cognitive behavioural therapy to ensure that each person recieves the individualised support they deserve.

By talking through things with someone outside of your social circle, you can finally feel relief and validation, eventually leading to the processing of difficult life experiences. I invite you to book a free introductory chat to see how much better things can start to be. If you are ready to begin your journey towards healing and self-discovery, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am here to support you every step of the way.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked for over ten years in the Mental Health sector, within both educational and clinical settings. I have supported adults and young people with Autism and ADHD in a behavioural SEN school for the last 6 years. I now work privately as well as within the NHS offering support to adults struggling with anxiety and depression. I conducted my training supporting staff in an organisational capacity, and I have worked within the NHS talking therapies service, primarily supporting individuals regarding grief, relationship break down and LGBTQ+ matters.

Free Initial Session

Is the idea of counselling confusing or overwhelming for you? You may have a lot of questions, which is why I offer a free 20-minute consultation so that we can discuss the therapeutic process as well as your hopes and expectations for counselling. I understand how strange it can feel to sit across from a stranger and talk about your experiences but I also know how much better it can feel after working through these tough situations and emotions so in this session we can discuss any requirements you may have or any concerns.
